Surprisingly Iceland was a quick pack for me since it is about dressing in layers. The things I packed and would recommend taking are:

• Rain jacket (Eddie Bauer)

• Warm winter jacket (Northface)

• Gloves

• Beanie hats

• Scarf

• Jeans

• Leggings

• Boot socks

• Sperry boots

• Hiking shoes

• Swimsuit

• Maybe one dress for a quick daring photo!

 

The key to Iceland is to wrap up in layers since its pretty cold most of the time. Make sure to get a windproof jacket since it really can hit you hard. One thing to note about jackets is that you will see many yellow and red jackets since the colors show up really well in photos! Be adventurous and don’t worry about always looking pretty, just enjoy the scenic sight.
