The InterContinental Bora Bora Resort & Thalasso Spa is a five-star luxurious resort offering the best tropical experience which faces the majestic Mount Otemanu. This is a luxury resort getaway that will be unforgettable. The crystal-clear blue lagoon water will leave you to keep coming back. We can tell you the same this is our second time back at this beautiful resort. This resort is exclusive and truly makes you feel like royal.

SERVICES:

The service goes beyond five stars, and you will be treated as royalty. The staff are very professional, helpful, and approachable. Service is provided at all hours of the days and immediate attention is given. Everyday the housekeeping comes to clean the room and leaves with a positive note on the mirror which really made our day. These small things add up and make the experience worthwhile. Also, water bottles are provided everyday as well a surprise snack during lunch time given at the villa every day. On top of this all we got a bag, t-shirt and two champagne bottles. Finally on the last day they gave us a printed photo of us as a souvenir. This beautiful resort goes over the top to give you the best experience. In addition, every morning for breakfast the restaurant staff would know our names and greet us happily. It was very easy to tell there was always a smile behind their masks. Also, the concierge staff were very helpful and provided us with many excursions and setting up dinner reservations. The front desk was very kind and always had iced tea available if you stopped by (trust us it was worth it). The front desk had greeted us when we had arrived and drove us around the property in the golf cart and even helped us with our bags to our villa. Furthermore, the pool staff were very enthusiastic and polite. They had cultural shows every day at noon such as how to open a coconut etc. If you want to be surrounded kind, helpful, enthusiast people you will have the time of your life.

LIVING SPACE:

There are many different over water bungalows depending on your budget. The six types are: Emerald, Sapphire, Diamond, Diamond Otemanu, Pool, and the Teremoana Villas. The first time we had visited we had stayed at the Sapphire villa which was beautiful which had a clear floor, spacious bathroom, closet, living area and bedroom facing the lagoon. Moving forward to October 2021 we had stayed at the Diamond Otemanu Villa which offered the same layout but was much bigger and had a view of Mount Otemanu. The best part of all the villas is the easy access to the lagoon from the spacious villa decks. Finally, the newest addition villas to this resort are the Teremoana villas which sits at the end of the over water pathway. The Villa Teremoana provides stunning views of Mt. Otemanu and is perfect for those seeking privacy. The suite is modern and luxurious and features sleek, contemporary décor with traditional Polynesian design touches. We were lucky to visit one of the Teremoana villas which was majestic. It is top of the line and everything you ever dreamed off with an addition of a pool facing directly to Mount Ottemanu.
