Kempinski Mall Of Emirates-Dubai 2022

One of the most iconic shopping locations in Dubai is the Mall of Emirates. Known for its high end fashion, luxury goods, and world class dining. To go along with these high standards of living, the Kempinski brand has also designated a hotel space attached directly to the Mall of Emirates. We had a fortunate opportunity to stay at this high class resort and enjoy the splendors it has to offer.

Only a 13.5 mile drive from Dubai's International airport to The Mall of Emirates down the famous Sheikh Rashid Rd will get you to the front door this Kempinski Hotel. Pulling up to the hotel states grandeur and luxury.

CHECK IN

We arrived at Dubai on April 22nd, 2022 and got our rental car at Dubai International airport (DXB) and headed towards Kempinski Dubai. Our check-in process was very easy, and they were able to give our room early. They graciously valet parked our car and took our luggage up to our rooms. They asked for our passports and credit card information at check-in. They also offered us some fresh juice drinks as a welcome drink. The lobby was beautiful with huge chandeliers and a classic luxurious interior synonymous with the Kempinski brand hotels.

There was a restaurant/café attached to the lobby called The Aspen and then an entrance into the Mall Of Emirates. The lobby area is a warm welcoming place in Dubai, and you will surely be satisfied by their five-star service.

ROOMS

During our stay, we enjoyed the amenities of the King Executive suite which provides a spacious living room, king size bedroom, modern and luxurious bathroom/shower, a walk in closet and a private office space.

The living room provides the expected amenities such as a 40 inch LCD TV

As well as a coffee bar and drink/liquor bar and high end glassware for your enjoyment. Of course the drinks/liquor in the mini-fridge and the bar snacks come at an extra cost. \

Dubai operates on a 230V supply voltage at 50Hz. You will require a Type G outlet adapter.

The King Executive suites are located at the front on the hotel which provides a view of downtown Dubai and the Palm islands. From outside our window we could see the seven star resort, the Burj Al Arab.

Although our suite is right along the highway, we had no issues with road noise during our stay.

AMENITIES

Entrance to Mall of Emirates

The Mall was an easy walk from the lobby and the nice thing was that the hours of operation were 10am to 1am every day. This helped us walk it out since we were jet lagged and having access to many shops is a plus point. In addition, to a grocery store within the mall where we could pick up extra snacks. There were many clothing stores, electronic stores, and grocery stores.

The best part in the Mall is Ski Dubai where you could snowboard or ski down the slopes. Ski Dubai offers a variety of activities and gives you a chance to meet the penguins, zip line or take a chairlift ride. In addition, if you stayed at the Kempinski there were room suites where you could view the slopes. This is a great winter escape in a warm place.

Aspen Restaurant

A beautiful quaint cafe located inside of Kempinski and at the entrance of the Mall of Emirates. This is a great place for a quick bite or afternoon tea. Great extended hours from 10am to 12am for whenever you needed a quick bite to eat.

Pool

The spectacular infinity pool was relaxing and a great way to cool off during the hot days. Swim in elegance and into the two infinity edge pools. Rest at Mosaic Chill pool bar and terrace as the waiter brings you a deliciously refreshing cocktail. The two swimming pools are also heated during the colder season. The infinity pool with the mosaic bar is only for adults and the other pool is for both adults and kids. There are relaxing sunbeds to sunbathe or even to sit back and read a book. The pool is open from 7am to 8pm daily.

Spa and health club

Sensasia is a great place to be pampered in Dubai. You can build your own massage and all massages are included with a foot cleansing ritual and refreshments. You can also get facials and hair treatments done as well. The spa hours are from 9am to 11pm every day.

The health club is where you have all the fitness equipment and that is also open 9am to 11pm.

Executive lounge

We were given access to the executive lounge with our suite accommodations. The lounge is located on the 11th floor and require a special access card for entry. Only guests of Executive Rooms, Suites or Aspen Chalets gets exclusive access to the Executive Lounge. Throughout the day, the Executive Lounge has coffee or afternoon tea. The features included are laundry allowance of 2 pieces per stay and complimentary use of the executive floor business centre. The executive lounge is opened daily from 6:30am to 11pm every day.

Breakfast is served from 6:30 am to 11:00 am on weekdays and 6:30 am to 11:30 am on weekends. Afternoon tea is served from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Pre-dinner Cocktails are served from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Pre-dinner soft drinks and canapés are available from 6:00 pm to 9:45 pm.

Hot and cold beverages are available throughout the day.

Breakfast at Olea

Our favorite meal of the day breakfast. We started our morning off here indulging into the Arabic cuisine style breakfast with a large variety of food from six nations: Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Southern Turkey, Lebanon, and Cyprus. There is a live kitchen where they cook you eggs and meats in front of you all fresh. Also, we really enjoyed the fresh juices every day. The buffet style breakfast had great options that filled you up happily. Breakfast is from 6:30am to 11am daily.

Some additional things that were offered are:

Shisha after noon every day

Dinner served every day and an Oud player every night during dinner for entertainment.

Unfortunately, we did not get to experience these things because we were usually out exploring Dubai.

Dinner is from 7pm to 3am everyday

OVERALL

Overall, the whole experience and quality of the hotel was a five-star experience. This is a great hotel if you want to experience Dubai Ski, have easy access to the Mall of Emirates or just have a relaxing time. It is not very close to the main attractions so do keep that in mind and is a great central location between the downtown Dubai and Palm Dubai.
